Alert Editor

The Alert Editor controls the design of your stream alerts. This is where you create alert templates, set canvas, blocks, tokens, duration, and animations, and save templates for OBS.

What This Page Is For

This page gives you the overview. The detailed workflow for areas, properties, components, and queue logic is covered in Using the Alert Editor.

Core Concept

LayerMeaning
TemplateSaved alert preset with appearance, blocks, duration, and animations.
CanvasAlert workspace with width, height, and anchor point.
BlockContent on the canvas, currently text or HTML.
TokenDynamic values such as creator, support, goal, checkout, or icon data.
RuleMapping in Alerts that decides when a template is played.
QueueOrder in which alerts appear in the OBS overlay.

The Alert Editor builds the template. The Alerts page decides when each template is triggered.

Areas

AreaWhat You Find There
Template listSaved templates, search, and delete.
Token SettingsTest values for preview and test triggers.
CanvasVisual area where you build the alert.
PropertiesGlobal settings and block settings.
TriggerTests animation and tokens inside the editor.
SendSends the template as a test alert to the queue.
QueueShows whether an alert is currently running or waiting.

Templates and Rules

Templates define the appearance. Rules define the trigger.

Example:

PartExample
TemplateNeon alert with {{support.amount}} text and message.
RulePayment from 5.00 EUR uses this template.
QueueWhen the rule matches, the alert is added to the queue.
OBS overlayShows the alert for the configured duration.

Rules, conflicts, and Test Send per rule are described under Alerts.
