Alert Components
In the Alert Editor, templates consist of blocks. Currently there are two block types: text and HTML.
Overview
| Block | Strength | Important |
|---|---|---|
| Text | Fast alert content with styling, tokens, and animations. | Good for amount, name, message, and short thank-you text. |
| HTML | Free HTML/CSS block for custom designs. | Exclusive mode: not combined with text blocks. |
Text Blocks
Text blocks are the normal path for alerts.
Good for:
- supporter name
- amount
- message
- goal text
- short thank-you text
- individual animated text lines
Text blocks can be positioned, styled, and animated. Tokens can be used so real values appear in the alert.
Examples:
| Goal | Token / Content |
|---|---|
| Show amount | {{support.amount}} |
| Show message | {{support.message}} |
| Show creator | {{creator.name}} |
| Show goal | {{goal.main.title}} |
The full token list is available under Tokens.
HTML Blocks
HTML blocks are intended for custom alert structures when text blocks are not enough.
Good for:
- custom HTML layouts
- special badge or card structures
- combined token output
- custom CSS look inside the template
HTML is intentionally exclusive. If an HTML block exists, you cannot also use text blocks. If text blocks exist, remove them before switching to HTML.
HTML Security
HTML/CSS is meant for presentation, not for third-party scripts or active logic.
Important:
- do not add third-party scripts
- do not rely on external script dependencies
- use tokens only for dynamic content
- keep styling inside the template
If you only need text, amount, and message, a text block is usually cleaner than HTML.
Block Selection
Select a block on the canvas to edit its properties on the right. If no block is selected, you edit the global template properties.
