Page Editor

The Page Editor controls the public Tip page. This is where you build your page structure from sections, slots, and components, then publish the version viewers see.

What This Page Is For

This page gives you the overview. The detailed workflow with clicks, drag and drop, and typical flows is covered in Using the Page Editor.

Core Concept

LayerMeaning
SectionLarge page area. A section is the starting point for layout and content.
RowRow inside a section.
SlotPlaceholder or area where components are placed.
GroupShared block made from multiple slots.
ComponentContent element such as text, HTML, media, goal, Support Box, Creator Links, or button.

The best starting point is a section. After that, extend the section with slots or groups as needed and drag components into the matching slots.

Sections

Sections are layout starting points. The editor provides ready-made layouts so you do not have to build every structure manually.

LayoutPurpose
Single ColumnOne clear area for text or a large box.
Two ColumnsTwo equal areas side by side.
Hero 60/40Large content on the left, compact area on the right.
Hero 40/60Compact intro on the left, large content on the right.
Big Left / Split RightLarge area on the left, two stacked slots on the right.
Top Large / Bottom SplitLarge area on top, two smaller areas below.
3-Card RowThree cards for features, goals, or notes.

Slots and Groups

If a section is not enough, you can extend it through structure.

ElementMeaning
SlotNew area in the active section. Components can be placed there.
GroupTwo slots as one shared block. Useful when content should work together as a block.

Slots can be selected, combined, and adjusted in width. This creates the actual page structure.

Components

Components are the visible content. You drag them into slots or insert them into the selected area.

ComponentExamples
TextHeadings, body copy, notes.
HTML + CSSCustom HTML structures with filtered CSS.
MediaImages or visual content.
GoalsGoal Card, Goal List, Goal Stats.
PaymentsSupport Box.
Creator LinksGlobal Creator Links from settings.
CTAButtons and link groups.
LayoutDivider and spacer.

Details for individual components are available on the matching pages, for example Creator Links, Payments, Tokens, or Using the Page Editor.

Save, Publish, Preview

ActionMeaning
SaveSaves the current draft.
PublishCreates a published version of the page.
PreviewOpens a live preview in its own tab. It can stay open while you work so you can check changes without saving every time.

The preview receives changes directly from the editor. External links are intentionally not opened there. This includes normal href links, Creator Links, and CTA buttons. That lets you check layout, content, and click areas without being redirected out of the preview.

The preview helps while working, but it does not replace saving. Remember to save after changes. The public page uses the published version and the live status in Studio.

Good Practice

  1. Set sections first.
  2. Then extend slots and groups until the structure fits.
  3. Add components to the slots.
  4. Style colors, spacing, and details last.
  5. Check preview.
  6. Publish.
  7. Check live status in Studio.
