Stripe Onboarding

Stripe Connect links your KALYIX Tip profile with payment processing and payouts. You start the flow in KALYIX, complete the information requested by Stripe, and then return to KALYIX.

Where You Start

Open Account in KALYIX. There you find Payment Setup with Stripe status, the payments toggle, and Stripe actions.

Path 1: Link Existing Stripe Account

Use this path if you already have a Stripe account.

1. Open Account.
2. In Payment Setup, click Link Stripe account.
3. KALYIX redirects you to Stripe.
4. Sign in to Stripe and confirm the connection.
5. Complete missing data in Stripe. Stripe shows directly which fields are required.
6. After completion, you return to KALYIX.
7. In Account, check that Stripe Status is Connected.
8. Enable Payments active.

If Payments active cannot be enabled, Stripe is not fully connected yet or Stripe still requires more data.

Path 2: Create New Stripe Account

Use this path if you do not have a Stripe account yet or want to create a new account for Tip.

1. Open Account.
2. In Payment Setup, click Create new Stripe account.
3. KALYIX opens a modal with the basic data.
4. Fill in Display Name, Email, and Country.
5. Optionally enter a phone number.
6. Read and confirm Stripe Connect terms and Stripe privacy policy.
7. Click Create Stripe account.
8. KALYIX creates the Stripe connection and redirects you to Stripe.
9. Complete all requested data in Stripe.
10. Stripe shows when required fields are missing or information needs review.
11. After completion, return to KALYIX.
12. In Account, check that Stripe Status is Connected.
13. Enable Payments active.

These KALYIX fields only start the Stripe process. The actual review and all further required data are handled by Stripe.

In Stripe

Stripe asks for the data required for your account, country, and payment/payout capability. This can include personal data, business data, bank details, identity verification, or tax information.

KALYIX does not define which fields you must complete here. Stripe shows required fields and errors directly in Stripe onboarding.

Back To KALYIX

After the Stripe step, you return to KALYIX or open Account again.

Then check:

Only when Stripe is connected and payments are active can a Tip page with a Support Box accept real payments.

Enable Payments

The Payments active toggle allows checkout on your Tip page.

When you enable it, KALYIX checks whether Stripe is connected. Without a Stripe connection, KALYIX blocks activation with the message Connect Stripe first, then enable.

Support Box And Live Page

If your page uses a Support Box or checkout tokens, it needs active payments. KALYIX blocks going live when checkout is active but Stripe is not connected or payments are not active.

Stripe Dashboard

When Stripe is connected, you can open Stripe directly via Stripe Dashboard. There you manage payouts, Stripe reviews, account details, and other Stripe-specific topics.

Disconnect Stripe

Disconnect Stripe removes the Stripe connection in KALYIX and disables payments. A page with an active Support Box can no longer accept payments until Stripe is connected again and payments are active again.

After Onboarding

After a successful connection:

1. Check Account.
2. Enable Payments active.
3. Add or check the Support Box in the Page Editor.
4. Publish the page.
5. Switch live in Studio.
6. Run a test payment or checkout test.
7. Check entries under Payments.
