Toolbar
The top toolbar controls important Page Editor actions.
Actions
| Action | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Header | Selects the header so you can edit header properties on the right. |
| Save | Saves the current draft. |
| Publish | Creates a published version of the page. |
| Preview | Opens the live preview in a separate tab. |
Content and Rows
The Content / Rows switch changes what you select on the canvas.
| Mode | Behavior | When to Use |
|---|---|---|
| Content | You click deep into the page and select individual elements: section, slot, group, or component. | When you want to edit text, components, slot alignment, colors, or individual properties. |
| Rows | Clicking a slot row selects the entire row. Row properties appear on the right. | When you want to define slot widths in that row. |
Rows is important when multiple slots sit side by side. In row properties, you can use presets or set the width of individual slots directly.
Preview
Preview can stay open in a second tab. It helps while working without forcing you to save after every small change.
Saving is still required. If you want to keep changes, save the draft.
Publish and Live
Publishing creates the version that can be used for the public page. Whether viewers can see the page is controlled afterward through live status in Studio.
